What CarryRoute does

CarryRoute: CCW Navigation is a reference research utility. It gathers official-source links for convenience; it is not a law firm or legal service, does not provide legal advice or make legal determinations, and leaves every travel or carry decision with the user.

Information kept on your device

Your date of birth, permit selections, selected military- and law-enforcement-status categories, carry modes, followed states, and saved trips are stored locally on your device. CarryRoute derives your current age locally and does not send your date of birth to its route service.

Route analysis

When you request a route analysis, the service receives route coordinates, current age, resident and permit jurisdiction identifiers, selected military- and law-enforcement-status categories, vehicle assumption, carry mode, and stop or overnight coordinates needed to return the requested result. CarryRoute does not request an agency, badge number, credential image, or firearm information. Route requests are processed to return jurisdiction passages and references and are not intentionally retained as personal route history. Infrastructure may process IP address, network information, request time, and error diagnostics for security and reliability.

Alerts

If you enable official-source change alerts, CarryRoute stores a protected Apple Push Notification service device token, the jurisdictions you follow, and your selected carry modes. This information is used only to deliver requested alerts. Turning the feature off deactivates the device subscription. Boundary alerts are scheduled locally on your device.

Analytics and diagnostics

If analytics are enabled, CarryRoute uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics without advertising-identifier support to measure broad feature use, subscription funnel health, crashes, and unresponsive-screen diagnostics. CarryRoute excludes addresses, route coordinates, dates of birth, permit selections, legal-profile details, free-form text, and raw error messages from analytics and diagnostic events. Subscriptions

Apple processes subscription payments and account information. CarryRoute reads cryptographically verified StoreKit entitlement and transaction information to unlock paid features. It does not receive your complete payment-card details.

Service providers and disclosure

CarryRoute uses Apple for maps, subscriptions, push notifications, and distribution; Google Firebase for optional analytics and crash diagnostics; and DigitalOcean for application hosting. Information is shared only as needed to provide those functions, comply with law, protect the service, or investigate abuse. CarryRoute does not sell personal information and does not use it for cross-app advertising.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains until you remove it or delete the app. Alert-subscription records remain while alerts are active and may be retained for a limited period for security and operational integrity after deactivation. You may request deletion of server-side alert information through the support page.

Security and changes

CarryRoute uses transport encryption, protected local files, restricted production configuration, and token protection appropriate to the service. No system can guarantee absolute security. Material policy changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
